Depending on the distance between the two knobs, you can choose the appropriate sliding lock. Another variant in this sector is the bi-fold lock which prevents young children from opening or closing folding doors. It can be installed high beyond the child’s reach, especially in stairwells, or kitchen, basement and laundry-room entrance doors.

Finger grip: These locks are for lightweight operations and require only minimum turning and locking.

Trigger compression latches ensure complete closure and security of doors, while sliding latches and over-center types are good for lightweight applications. Plastic latches are lightweight but they can also provide good security when used with a good locking system. This is suitable for plastic or display cabinets, children’s toy cupboards, cabinets which are exposed to outside air and sun etc as plastic locks and latches do not rust or corrode with exposure.
